Position Overview :

The Assistant Manager, PHP-Overnight Program provides oversight of all functions and operations of the PHP-Overnight program at the guidance of the PHP Overnight Manager. The Assistant Manager, PHP - Overnight Program must be proficient in understanding addiction and treatment.

Specific Responsibilities:

Enforces operational standards, policies, and procedures as needed for successful program operation. Networks with inpatient clinical and care coordination staff to determine resident eligibility and willingness to participate in the PHP Overnight program. Assists PHP - Overnight Program Manager with reviewing and approving applications for prospective residents. Meeting with incoming residents to review the welcome orientation packet and complete the intake process. Performs all aspects of patient belongings processing for new admissions, including search, debugging, and delivery. Monitors resident activities, provides security checks throughout shift. Ensures the safety of residents. Promotes resident participation in the RCA Monroeville PHP program. Assists in the activities of residents' daily schedule. Facilitates and documents weekly mandatory residence meetings. Implements, enforces, and monitors the house rules, policies, and procedures. Designates chores and clearly outlines resident responsibilities for participation, cleanliness of rooms and common areas, and maintenance of the house order. Ensures that maintenance forms are reviewed and submitted within 48 hours. Organizes and conducts social and cultural activities to promote sobriety. Coordinates transportation for outside functions related to recovery plan. Collects rent and maintains ledger of resident accounts. Administers random drug tests and breathalyzers. Assist PHP Overnight Program Manager with maintaining a program that is safe, sober, and recovery oriented. Maintains appropriate confidentiality when interacting with residents, families, visitors, referral sources, and all other contacts. Exhibits excellent customer service skills as demonstrated with supportive and constructive communication with all contacts including co-workers, residents, visitors, families, and referral sources. Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

High school diploma or equivalent. Understands the principles of 12-Step Programs and application in the SUD recovery process. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with all necessary technology hardware, systems and tools required to perform duties; training will be provided as needed.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional in-patient treatment facility environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
