Join the USL Spokane team as the Assistant Manager Ticket Sales. This position is responsible for the daily performance of ticket sales to generate new revenue and service existing accounts. This role will sell new and renewal season tickets, partial season tickets plans, group ticket plans, and individual game tickets. The Assistant Manager Tickets Sales will provide exceptional customer service and has a high degree of initiative to drive forward successful prospecting of new business opportunities. Additionally, this position will be responsible for fostering ongoing positive relationships with corporate sponsors, community partners, season ticket holders, and for top level customer service in all interactions representing USL Spokane.

The Assistant Manager Ticket Sales must be available for USL Spokane home games and must be able to work flexible hours which will include extended days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overnights. Must have a proven ability to build respectful working relationships and effectively communicate with employees, management, vendors, contractors, and community partners. Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams is key. A high degree of personal initiative and a proven track record of personal and team achievements is required. A successful candidate must be able to solve problems quickly and prioritize and manage multiple projects, work independently in multi-faceted, fast, fluid, and deadline-driven environments. Must be able to demonstrate a superior customer service skillset by ensuring each interaction leaves the individual feeling heard, appreciated, understood, and valued.

  • Sell tickets through conducting outbound calls and emails and inbound channels:
    • Conduct daily sales and relationship cultivation phone calls, messages (electronic, mailings, etc.) with season ticket holders, sponsors, businesses, individuals, groups, and prospective buyers.
    • Service the inbound ticket sales phone line to answer general fan questions and sell ticket packages.
    • Prospect and target new sales opportunities for season tickets and mini plans.
  • Attend networking events to build relationships with potential partners and build positive relationships. Actively prospect new group business opportunities.
  • Network and build relationships in and around the surrounding region. Build and foster relationships with past, current, and potential new clients.
  • Focus on creating new relationships with community organizations, such as youth sports, school, local businesses, etc. with the idea of selling group tickets and full spectrum of offerings.
  • Build authentic relationships with internal (co-workers) and external (community members) and provide superior customer service to fans and all community members.
  • Conduct out of office meetings with current and potential partners. Develop and deliver dynamic sales presentations for current and new business prospects.
  • Give facility tours with the intent to close business.
  • Responsible for personal sales goals and contributing to annual revenue growth.
  • Build and manage a multi-year book of business.
  • Develop new and creative methods to boost group ticket revenue.
  • Assist in the development of ticket marketing, promotions, ticket pricing, sales strategies, and community ticket/sampling programs, etc.
  • Assist in the creation, planning, communication, and implementation of special ticket plans, projects, promotions, and programs.
  • Ongoing development of New Ticket Sales and Ticket Service Program in the following areas:
    • New business generation
    • Season tickets
    • Development of sales and service strategies
    • Development of best practices and results tracking and reporting
  • Create and sell marketing/advertising program utilizing all existing team-controlled inventory that effectively meet a variety of client goals and marketing objectives.
  • Assist in the development and entire execution of approved Annual Business and Sales Plan and Operating Budget.
  • Represent the organization at in-house facility events and off-site community events promoting ticket sales and the organization.
  • Maintain records of all customers and prospects by utilizing CRM tool.
  • Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales figures and relevant accountability, as well as relevant communications of those results.
  • Completion of administrative tasks such as invoice delivery, payroll reporting, sales commissions, monthly expenses, etc.
  • Participate in, conduct, or present in internal sales meetings.
  • Support other departments to organize and implement large theme nights.
  • Collaborates with Director of Ticket Sales and Service to ensure clear expectations on level of autonomy and reporting or approval procedures.
  • This position must be able to work flexible hours which may include extended days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overnights due to travel.


Game Day Responsibilities:
  • Assist with client and fan entertainment as needed.
  • Assist with promotional execution as needed.
  • Assist other departments when necessary.


Minimum Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, sports management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years experience in ticket sales
  • Ability to pass comprehensive background check including a motor vehicle report
  • Ability to pass SafeSport Training
  • Possess and maintain a current and valid driver's license and maintain legally required insurance

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Exempt position with a range of $68,000 - $75,000.
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus and Commission.
  • Paid unlimited vacation policy and 10 days of sick leave per calendar year.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance provided with a 75% employer contribution for employee premiums.
  • 50% employer contribution for dependent/spouse medical, dental, and vision.
  • Employer paid employee life insurance and AD&D.
