Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. Coordinates and manages the nursing program’s simulation and clinical learning environments. The individual in this position will assure the effective and efficient operation of the lab, will assess, and provide for meeting program and student needs, and oversee the operation of high and medium fidelity technology to ensure safe and effective use of simulation equipment.
Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's/Required Qualifications
  • Current license or multistate licensure privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth without any disciplinary action that currently restricts practice.
  • B.A. and M.A. in nursing earned from a college or university with national nursing accreditation
  • Minimum of two (2) years of full-time employment in nursing or its equivalent within the past five (5) years.
  • Prior simulation experience
Additional Considerations
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent teaching experience in a nursing program.
Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees Yes Required Travel
Travel needed as required.
