THIS POSITION IS TENURE TRACK

The Department of Endodontics in the College of Dentistry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure track Graduate Program Director, Assistant/Associate Professor position.

The primary responsibilities of the position include:

  • Clinical and didactic instruction, research mentoring, and administration of the graduate endodontic program.
  • Supervise, instruct and evaluate residents in endodontics (clinical and didactic (classroom/seminar).
  • Supervise, instruct, and evaluate residents in endodontics (clinical and didactic (classroom/seminar). Research mentoring and administration of the graduate endodontic program. 55% teaching-10% research-10% clinical and 25%service


Academic rank and salary will be based upon qualifications and commensurate with the level of experience.

Basic Qualifications and Departmental Preferences:

  • Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent.
  • Experience with Advanced Surgical and non-surgical Endodontic Therapy.
  • Private practice in Endodontic procedures strongly preferred.
  • Diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontics (ABE) required.
  • Eligible for TN dental licensure in moderate conscious sedation
