Position Description:

The Division of Biostatistics and the Department of Pediatrics/Division of Quantitative Health Sciences at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor. Primary responsibilities include engaging in collaborative research with physicians and biomedical scientists from the Department of Pediatrics, teaching and mentoring graduate students, and conducting independent methodological research. The position begins July 1, 2023 or as soon as available.

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is a private free-standing medical school located in suburban Milwaukee. It has a Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and offers a Ph.D. in Biostatistics. The Division of Biostatistics, located in the Institute for Health and Equity, has 16 faculty members. This position is a joint recruitment with the Department of Pediatrics/Division of Quantitative Health Sciences. Quantitative Health Sciences, located in the Children's Research Institute, is supported by the Department of Pediatrics and Children's Wisconsin to collaborate on projects with a focus on child health.

Position Requirements:
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Biostatistics or Statistics, or expect to complete such a degree.
Applicants should demonstrate methodological and applied expertise, and have skills in modern statistical computing. Excellent written and oral communication skills are also essential.
