The successful candidate will teach at both the undergraduate and graduate level, conduct research, advise students, mentor student projects, and participate in recruitment and outreach activities.
This recruitment is for 3 positions (128740, 128750, 126160). Two are located in Pensacola, FL and one is located in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Department Mechanical Engineering FLSA: Exempt Minimum Qualifications: Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a strong commitment to teaching, academic research, and service. Position Qualifications: A PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution with a demonstrated record of achievement in academic research and potential for external funding. Preferred Qualifications A background in manufacturing or thermal systems is preferred for the Pensacola positions. A background in aerospace engineering is preferred for the Fort Walton Beach position. Special Requirements or Considerations of the Job:
This position requires a criminal background screen.
