Job Description

An Assistant Project Manageris responsible for completing the following duties:
  • Develop and maintain multiple project schedules
  • Attend all production meetings to ensure schedules are reflective of manufacturing dates
  • Assist the Project Manager to oversee and coordinate internal resources and vendors to ensure all projects are delivered on-time, per scope and within budget
  • Work with the Safety Director & Project Manager to oversee site safety, making sure all processes and practices are conducted in a safe manner
  • Understand operation, safety, and cleanliness of all machinery in your area of responsibility
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Support your Supervisor and Company decisions
  • Assist managing Construction Management projects from time that complete contract is signed until final completion of project.
  • Collaborate with on-site Job Superintendent, Team Lead, Project Manager, & Project Engineer
  • Manage inside resources as needed
  • Manager subcontractor contracts including bid letting, approving invoicing, etc.
  • Assist Project Manager as needed to communicate with customers updates on project status
  • Assist the project Manager with maintaining the project budget
  • Ensure quality workmanship on the project as a whole
  • Maintain organized and detailed records, and documentation throughout the project
  • Coordinate between Construction Management, Install, and Service to ensure seamless transition between job stages
  • Assist Construction Management sales as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Shift: 7:00am to 5:00pm

Qualifications
  • Must have working knowledge of your area of responsibility
  • Strong communication & time management skills
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Computer skills - ongoing development to include Microsoft Office and E1
  • Travel to sites required, approximately 20%-30%
