We are seeking an experienced and motivated Front-End Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, hiring, and development of front-end staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing store operations. Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment, hiring, and orientation process for front-end staff, promoting diversity and maintaining a high level of talent within the department.
- Oversee front-end operations, including cash office management, to ensure efficient and accurate transactions and the highest level of customer service.
- Foster positive relationships with the local community and customers, representing our store in a professional and engaging manner.
- Conduct interviews, coordinate training programs, and collaborate with other managers to ensure the successful onboarding and development of associates.
- Monitor and document front-end associate performance, implementing action plans to address any performance issues and supporting their professional growth.
- Analyze store turnover figures and collaborate with department managers to develop strategies for retention and engagement.
- Provide coaching and counseling to associates, resolve customer issues, respond to donation requests, and coordinate local community events and fundraising initiatives.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence in customer service, setting the standard for best-in-class service across the store.
- Manage the daily operations of the Customer Service Department, including sales, profitability, sanitation and safety, merchandising, payroll, and administration.
- 1-3 years of experience in supermarket retail management.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and a self-starter with a proven track record of success.
- Strong ability to influence and communicate effectively across different functions.
- Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, inspiring and guiding teams to achieve goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of customer service skills, with a genuine passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Creative and strategic thinking abilities to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Effective organizational and time management skills to ensure efficient operations.
