What You Will Do:

Lead, animate and manage the PPD US Development business. Accountable and responsible for operational activities and projects associated with three (7) PPD DMI Brands Manages a team of 4 direct reports and 15 indirect reports.

Direct strategy and execution for package development and project management activities to assure timely and cost-effective new product launches, promotional programs, and product life maintenance of basic business activities. Responsible for identifying new and improved processes that will result in effective cost reduction / harmonization programs for new or existing product.
  • Ensure the appropriate resources are in place to meet the demands of the business
  • Develop, challenge, inspire and motivate the whole team
  • Responsible for operating budget
  • New Product Launch Management & Execution
  • Creation and Execution of Launch Timelines
  • Anticipation, Assessment & Management of Risks related to Safety, Timing, Quality, Agility, and Cost
  • Drive Profitability, Cost Control and Financial Management
  • Drive Innovation and Sustainability Initiatives
  • Optimize Launch Process, Tools and Procedures
  • Guide Marketing in new product brief creation
  • Cost Reduction support to Operations teams (Plant + Purchasing)
  • Management of specific launch projects as necessary or required
  • Management of Color and Artwork Decoration
  • Drive Formula Optimization and Regulatory Compliance
  • Manage manufacturing footprint expansion across multiple zones for two (2) US Led DMI Brands


What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years' experience in proven package development project work/quality experience, preferably in the cosmetics, consumer goods or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Must have excellent team leadership skills, leading and developing a team of professionals
  • Must be able to formulate, articulate and implement a vision and motivate team members to achieve department goals & objectives
  • Must possess strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to influence senior management and key business stakeholders
  • Must be able to think and plan strategically, with the ability to be creative and think "outside the box".
