The Department of Pediatrics' Division of Infectious Diseases at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time Investigator at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include clinical inpatient and outpatient care of children with complex infections and compromised immunity. The candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an extramurally funded clinical, translational, and/or basic science research program pertaining to any aspect of pediatric infectious diseases. The candidate will contribute to medical education of trainees including fellows on the infectious diseases service.
Qualified candidates will have an MD, MD-MPH or MD-PhD, be board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and have a strong record of research productivity consistent with the level of past experience. Preferred qualifications include expertise in the area of transplant infectious diseases.
