Position responsibilities

  • The Associate Account Executive is one of the primary business contacts for Clients and is responsible for possessing and applying knowledge of industry trends and related regulations while servicing Clients’ accounts in an innovative and efficient manner
  • This position will service and market the needs of Lockton clients to maximize company revenue and shall also develop and maintain favorable internal and external relationships providing the highest level of customer service by meeting or exceeding industry standards
  • When acting in the Associate AE Role the individual will be responsible for the following duties with oversight from a Senior Level AE:
  • Create with the Account Executive a business strategy, including feasibility studies, financial modeling, identification of coverage needs, carrier market identification and service needs
  • Identification of the team who will be overseeing the client project or account through discussions within the business unit
  • Understand and perform marketing and account services to provide the broadest and most competitive quality product for Lockton clients
  • Coordinate marketing strategies and selection for prospects and existing business, and maintain communication with the account team during the entire marketing process to protect current business and secure new business
  • Coordinate the team in terms of delivery of services for the client
  • Responsible for the preparation and delivery of client reports, including quarterly or annual stewardship reports where provided for our clients
  • Accumulate required continuing education credits to maintain current insurance license
  • Coordinate initial account communication directly with Owner (client) and/or GC, review and affirm the Project Insurance Manual to Contract Documents, processes for enrollment and bidding instruction, and provide project documentation to the client and their GC such as Sample Contractual Language, Bid Packets, PIM templates or other similar information to minimize the workload of the client and their project team
  • Provides and works with the Account Executive on contract and lending reviews; documents such as PSAs, Crane Swing Agreement, Easements, Lending requirements, or other contracts related to their construction
  • Oversee the CIP Administration process from kick-off to close-out including participation in project conference calls, kick-off meeting. Ensure compliance to the services provided for in any Lockton Service Agreement. Works with the CIP and Account Administrator to obtain contractor deductions, close out information for audits and provide project reports to the client


Requirements:

Position qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent
  • Typically, more than eight years of Client services experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Understands industry trends and governmental regulations
  • Ability to attend industry training sessions
  • Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
  • Legally able to work in the United States
