Playfly Sports is looking for a Associate Account Executive, Playfly Access to join our team in New York, NY.

The Associate Account Executive will play a crucial role in Playfly's client-direct sales efforts by generating leads, qualifying prospects and initiating the sales process. This individual will prospect and perform consistent outreach to help establish new client-direct relationships across top brands in assigned territory and/or category verticals. The role may lead client relationships or on some occasions work in tandem with other teammates to properly service client needs. As a member of the Playfly Access team, this individual will be accountable for contributing to the achievement of overall individual/team annual key performance indicators and revenue targets.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities including cold calling and emailing to generate leads and qualify prospects for the sales team
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for lead generation and qualification
  • Schedule meetings for the sales team with qualified prospects
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies and campaigns
  • Identify new leads that will drive revenue through sales of integrated media and non-media assets across professional teams, leagues and high school/collegiate properties
  • Attend sales meetings and calls with senior team members to build understanding of full sales process and cycle
  • Assist with building and formatting impactful presentations that align Playfly solutions with each prospect's needs
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and update Customer Relationship Management "CRM" system to ensure transparency and accountability towards achievement of assigned goals
  • Research industry news and trends to develop knowledge of the team sponsorship and media landscape
  • Other job-related duties as assigned


WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar industry preferred
  • Some experience in business development, sponsorship sales, brand strategy, or partnership marketing required
  • Prior experience or internships in Team Sponsorship or at sports marketing agencies is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic relationships is required
  • A strategic-thinker and possess an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Comfort in phone outreach, public speaking and persuasive presentation settings
  • Bi-lingual speaker a plus
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/KORE/Revenue Generation systems is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Primarily works in a quiet professional office environment
  • Minimal travel may be required from time to time


COMPENSATION

The pay range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
