GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

The Claim Associate Analyst will assist with claims oversight and guidance through collaboration with High-Net-Worth clients, Private Client Group (PCG) Sales and Service and carrier to obtain the best possible claim outcome.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide claim oversight for claim exposures for PCG clients.
  • Receive notification of directly reported claims and set up in Epic for assignment.
  • Receive initial notification of clients claim, initiate contact with stakeholders and begin processing of claim.
  • Record and maintain claim information in EPIC risk management information system.
  • Works with carrier partner to address claim handling or adjusting deficiencies regarding coverage, disposition plan, payment, reserve, etc., soliciting management assistance when necessary.
  • Initiates a status or a follow up on all open claims as prescribed by best practices and in accordance will handing PCG clients.
  • Monitor claims in subrogation and provide updates.
  • Assist the Team Leader in various projects.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Four-year college or university degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of claim handling and/or claims oversight experience in claims preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • EPIC system knowledge preferred.

ADA COMPLIANCE
  • Physical Ability: Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.
  • Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and differentiate visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.
  • Environmental Factors: Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions .
