Summary:



Our Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) team is growing and are looking to add an Associate Client Executive (ACE) to support our clients and the practice. The ACE will have a key role in managing client relationships along with senior members of the team. Specific responsibilities include the management, marketing, and planning for current and prospective Lockton clients with a focus on the Real Estate and Private Equity space. Direct interaction, client engagement and relationship building within the insurance marketplace are key components for this position. This position necessitates working from a Lockton Northeast Office.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the renewal of current client insurance programs from origination to completion and be active with new business opportunities.
  • Management of renewal process from exposure gathering and analysis, market selection and submission, and the negotiation of coverage terms, conditions and pricing, proposal, and binding.
  • Prepare articulate, organized, and professional presentations (oral and/or written) for all levels of client contacts.
  • Support M&A diligence and review programs for target acquisitions
  • Proactive and strategic anticipation of client needs and timely response to client inquiries and the requests of Producers and Unit Manager. Deliver best-in-class customer service by consistently exceeding client and team expectations.
  • Prepare written correspondence, report, and analyses as needed.
  • Review contracts and demonstrate the ability to identify contractual requirements within the contract and compliance with insurance requirements.
  • Mentor and lead Analyst Associates.
  • Develop and maintain carrier relationships at the underwriting level.
  • Attend team/practice meetings, educational workshops, carrier functions, staff meetings, and social events as needed.
  • Out of town travel infrequently required.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, risk management, or related field; or equivalent education and/or work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience with commercial property and casualty account management.
  • Knowledge of multiple lines of property and casualty insurance coverage's as they relate to various industries.
  • Effective time management skills necessary to prioritize workflow and manage priorities.
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours when needed.
  • Ability to influence outcomes through professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion.
  • Proactive thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with Associates at all levels of responsibility.
  • Current insurance license required; ARM, CRIS, CIC, CRM, or CPCU certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The hiring range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
