Firm Risk Management (FRM) supports Morgan Stanley to achieve its business goals by partnering with business units across the Firm to realize efficient risk-adjusted returns, acting as a strategic advisor to the Board and protecting the Firm from exposure to losses as a result of credit, market, liquidity, model and other risks.

Primary Responsibilitie

> Assist with strategic oversight of climate risk initiatives such as scenario analysis development, governance/reporting, and regulatory deliverable

> Assist with preparation of documentations and materials for climate-related governance, project plans, and regulatory requirements

> Contribute to external disclosure requirements pertaining to climate-related financial risk

> Contribute to strategic priorities on enhancing climate data and infrastructure capabilitie

> Keep abreast of regulatory and business requirements and expectations regarding climate risk, climate scenario analysis and climate data

Qualifications:

Experience

> Bachelor's degree required

> 4 years or more work experience in financial services or related industry

> Strong PowerPoint, deck preparation, and Excel skills is required

> Experience with climate risk matters, such as current/anticipated regulatory expectations regarding climate risk and climate scenario analysis, is preferred

> Risk Management (e.g., credit/market Risk) experience is advantageou

> Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively

> Strong skills in written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and problem solving and collaboration

> Curious about risk management, financial products, markets, and regulation

> Strong attention to detail

> Self-starter with a strong work ethic

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

This role is hybrid and currently requires in office attendance 3 days/week. The in office requirement is subject to change at any time.
