Job Summary/Basic Functions

This position is responsible for developing and strengthening employer and alumni relations on behalf of the UMW Center for Career and Professional Development. This individual is responsible for providing vision and execution for the employer and alumni experience through the management of recruiter and alumni events, career fairs, sponsorships, and services. The Associate Director has responsibility for Center operations that relate to the planning, scheduling, implementation, marketing, and assessment of employer and alumni programs and services. Additional responsibilities include providing direction and ownership for the University's recruiting systems and online job and internship database (Handshake), as well as the policies that govern employer interaction with the Center. The Associate Director provides oversight of the Center's data analysis related to tracking employer insights.

Required Experience:

Professional experience in a college or university environment (preferably career services) or equivalent experience in a corporate environment working with campus-based recruitment; Demonstrated experience supporting the employer and alumni experience

Additional Considerations:

Experience in a high volume and dynamic and fast paced environment.
