Seton Hall University is seeking candidates for the position of Associate Director, Graduate Affairs Communications Specialist & CRM Administrator. Reporting to the Associate Provost for Academic and Graduate Affairs, this position will provide leadership and support in advancing the University's graduate recruitment, enrollment and reporting goals. The incumbent will assist with the general coordination of all graduate enrollment and recruitment efforts by providing critical strategic leadership where technology, data, reporting, and digital communications are concerned. The successful candidate will manage integration of various information systems and help to transform a broad array of institutional data into strategic and actionable information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

CRM Administration/Technology
• Provide tactical, logistical, and strategic support for Technolutions Slate CRM. Serve as Slate Captain for the Office of Graduate Affairs. Troubleshoot issues within the CRM and maintain forms, templates, rules, permissions, portal, and so forth.
• Manage and maintain the internal graduate Slate application, including annual review and ad-hoc program-related updates.
• Manage vendor-provided data sources, including adjustments to specifications and resolution of data errors.
• Maintain the file reading system and make enhancements as needed.
• Along with the Manager of Graduate Affairs Operations, serve as liaison to Information Technology.

Communications
• Produce a range of communications (letters, e-mail campaigns, etc.) that will contribute to the overall enrollment marketing strategy. Materials will be used in a range of outlets including marketing and promotional materials, correspondence, website material, and other communication sources.
• Build campaigns in the CRM system and manage content and rules for CRM system-generated campaigns.
• Serve as the primary liaison to University Relations on matters pertaining to graduate web and digital design, execution, and strategy.
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of a social media presence for the Office of Graduate Affairs, attending to updates and management.

Enrollment
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, administrative colleagues across all academic and non-academic units, and members of the faculty to meet and exceed annual enrollment goals at the graduate level.
• Provide training and support to Academic Affairs related to the use of critical technologies, with particular emphasis on Technolutions Slate CRM

Reporting
• Ensure that key campus constituents have access to critical graduate enrollment data and are able to maximize existing technologies to improve the prospective graduate student experience.
• Collect appropriate data, and provide effective analyses, to formulate decisions supporting strategies to meet enrollment goals. Leverage enrollment data and systems in the recruitment of graduate students.
• Develop reports as needed from Slate CRM through the use of configurable joins, as well as the SIS and other sources as needed.

Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Three-to-five years of progressively responsible experience working with enrollment management and admissions, with graduate admissions experience preferred.
• Proven ability to conceive and execute a communications campaign to prospective students.
• Prior experience working with Technolutions Slate CRM and Student Information Systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills; ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a given time.
• Facility with all Microsoft Office Suite applications; in particular, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Slate Captain or administrator, and/or with the implementation of Slate at a prior institution, are strongly preferred.
• Experience with Adobe Create Suite, JavaScript, SQL, HTML and/or CSS a plus.
• Demonstrated ability, experience, and background in relational databases and data integrations; manipulation and management of various student systems would be a plus.
• Experience with Ellucian Banner ODS, Cognos, and/or SharePoint platforms would be a plus.
• Desired personal traits: detail oriented; problem solving skills; analytical; innovative; ability to work independently and as a member of a team, on independent projects, and collaborate with internal and external parties including consultants and other university departments; ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends (very rare), and engage in business travel, as needed.

Licenses and Certificates:

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
