Ansell is looking for an Associate Director, Regional Planning to join our team in Iselin, NJ!

In this position you will play a vital role in the Global Supply Chain team. They are responsible for ensuring that the global customer service level targets are consistently met while maintaining global inventory within budget. The role of Regional Planning Lead is responsible for the oversight and management of Regional Planning for assigned portfolio and region.

What your role will be?

  • Lead the Regional Planning process within Global Supply Chain by managing all related processes to support customer service level targets.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to obtain sales forecasts, opportunities, supply committed plans and point of sale to drive the Demand Review sign-off, NPD and Opportunities meeting.
  • Provide demand input for the annual product sales plan within the budgeting process
  • Track changes and plan accuracy striving for the improvement of information quality and flow with clear bridges and root causes
  • Actively create content and participate in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meetings
  • Ensure consolidation of Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) forecasts into the IBP committed plan for relevant portfolio by working with CPFR lead(s)
  • Support capabilities and business processes to significantly improve on customer experience excellence, product availability, reducing excess stock in collaboration with Sales and Marketing
  • Maintain months cover balance target across region through effective inventory management
  • Prevent E&O through active avoidance of new excess and depletion of E&O inventory
  • Request expedited supply through fast-track shipments to resolve back-order situations while strictly managing costs
  • Provide product availability, lead-time enquiries and intra-region allocation management to commercial stakeholders.
  • Proactively communicate cross functional teams with information on shortages and availability including root cause, corrective action and recovery for product shortages and delays, including anticipation of future constrained situations through the CBO (customer back order) reporting, OTIF reporting (external & internal), STP (ship to promise) and other relevant reports
  • Actively participate in the product rationalization process (phase-in/phase-out) from a Demand Planning and Regional execution perspective
  • Mentor and lead a team of professionals, providing training and coaching, performance management and other relevant individual and team-based feedback to maximize performance.
  • Develop and execute intra-region allocations as required during periods of constraint


What will you bring to Ansell?
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or commensurate experience
  • 8+ years' supply chain experience in a best practice dynamic FMCG/Healthcare / Pharmaceutical company.
  • Experience developing business and strategic plans
  • E2E planning experience beyond Demand / S&OP / Inventory Planning in a regional / global scope
