Perform engineering and/ or scientific analyses and other activities necessary to support the Environmental and Safety Systems (ESS) department related to environmental compliance.
Assist staff in maintaining and improving environmental programs, including waste, air quality, water, wastewater, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
Prepare regulatory compliance documents for review/submittal in support of environmental compliance programs.
Perform campus-wide surveillance activities related to environmental compliance and support continuous improvement of environmental programs.

Develop and/or update procedural documents for regulatory compliance.
Perform campus-wide surveillance activities related to environmental compliance.
Collect and compile data for regulatory reporting.
Review potential environmental impacts of new research programs/activities.
Support existing Environmental Management System implementation and recordkeeping.

Requires a Bachelors degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or related earth science discipline.
0-3 years: Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
0-3 years: Detail oriented, with exceptional problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
0-3 years: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently or with a team, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
