Location: Sterling, VA (100% onsite Monday-Friday, no remote work)

About the Position:
We are looking for a highly driven Associate Marketing Manager who has strong written, verbal, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail who enjoys working in cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have 3 - 5 years' experience working in marketing or related department with a focus on product growth in existing and new markets. They will also have a strong sense of marketing strategies through various channels, including print and digital media, surveys, interviews and trade shows.
Job Duties/Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing sales tools, brochures, spec sheets, and other collateral
  • Assist in writing support and training documents for internal and external users
  • Collaborates with Marketing and Sales team on shared projects, initiatives and strategies
  • Works closely with sales team to understand market and value of our products
  • Assist with strategies around the promotion of our portfolio of products
  • Assist with the launching of new products
  • Post-market surveys and reports after launching of products
  • Coordinate trade shows and trade show logistics
  • Monitor trade show supplies, literature, and all other materials.
  • Ability to travel 10%, occasionally to include weekends for trade shows, photo shoots and business meetings
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Ability to effectively use MS Office programs: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proofreading, editing, document formatting skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Exceptional organization skills - can handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and shares responsibility for the team's success and progress
  • Strong work ethic, sound judgment, has integrity, is trustworthy with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Access to reliable transportation
Additional skills which are a plus:
  • Knowledge of graphic editing programs (Canva, Pixelmator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Knowledge of website editing (Wordpress)
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Bachelor's degree a plus, but not required
  • Effective written and verbal communications
  • Valid drivers license with good driving records
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours, as needed
