Job Summary

IHG is looking for an Associate Product Manager - Portfolio Management to leverage and deliver new capabilities introduced by our Hotel, Owner and Commercial Products and Platforms, by guiding our product teams through agile delivery processes and by driving enhancements throughout the ecosystem which will further enable new capabilities for our colleagues, our owners, and our guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with various product and development teams to ensure delivery activities are met through the development lifecycle.
  • Support the delivery of cross-functional enablement of capabilities through the ecosystem through facilitation of meetings and cross-product road-mapping and planning activities.
  • Ensure agile delivery documentation at various artifact levels, process mapping and technical designs, and other business requirement documentation is maintained and appropriately shared throughout the delivery cycle.
  • Support the escalation and resolution of blockers across programs and key priority workstreams and the communication of dependent work deliveries and other cross-delivery information.
  • Support the PI planning process for Hotel, Owner and Commercial product teams and ensure teams account for impacts and dependencies across the IHG ecosystem.
  • Support reporting activities for the delivery process for various frequencies and audiences (ex: release notes, program updates, roadmap updates, delivery health checks).

Education
  • Bachelor's or Masters' degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Audit or Finance, Logistics, Strategy or a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experienced.

Experience
  • 3+ years progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/technologies/processes related to the position as well as significant experience leading teams and/or significant complex projects. Process improvement and design, hotel operations, channel distribution, project management, and/or product management experience is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills and Knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience in detailed product development discovery, documentation, and design work preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation, along with the ability to facilitate large cross-functional sessions with a goal of developing actionable recommendations in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to corporate clients, senior management, and potentially hotel colleagues.
  • Demonstrated strong inter-personal skills, with the ability to develop lasting business relationships across various business and technical disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to present new concepts, research findings, and business outcomes to various groups including corporate clients, senior management, and industry consultants.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hotel industry reflecting the customer experience lifecycle (shopping and booking through ongoing customer relationship management) and corporate function operations and initiatives relevant to hospitality (revenue management, loyalty, marketing, finance, legal, channel distribution). Experience with a franchise organization is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking skills that can relate micro level project events to macro level corporate strategy. Knowledge and ability to understand data analysis, performance measurement, reporting, and strategic business planning preferred.

The salary range for this role is $46,226 to $96,000. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.

**This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
