Position Summary
The University at Buffalo School of Law invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, depending on experience, with research and teaching interests in any legal field. Teaching experience or interest in property or civil procedure is particularly welcome. The Law School encourages applications from candidates prepared to contribute, through research, teaching, and service, to a diverse and inclusive community of inquiry. Position responsibilities include:

• Conduct exemplary research, commensurate with Research 1 tenure track faculty appointments, leading to the development of innovative ideas and publications in prominent scholarly outlets.
• Develop teaching materials and curriculum for law-related subjects and teach three courses per year.
• Fulfill service responsibilities related to program, departmental, and university affiliations.

Minimum Qualifications
• Excellent academic background, including J.D. or higher law degree.
• Evidence of research potential, achievement, and potential commitment to successful teaching.

Preferred Qualifications
• Additional professional, research or teaching experience.
• Potential for national or international visibility as a scholar.
