Job Summary/Overview

The Associate Specialist of Sales Enablement is a cross-functional communicator, skilled in supporting and organizing requests of the regional sales managers, channel partners and pending prospects. As the key contact for colleagues and customers alike, the Associate Specialist will be responsible for facilitating support through marketing, sales, client services, and the president.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee incoming requests including emails and D-Tools quote requests.
  • Manage and provide reporting on sales leads through the Customer Relationship Manager (Sales Force) and lead management tool.
  • Lead follow up or reassignments when assigned Regional Sales Manager is unavailable.
  • Act as the Salesforce data steward for sales and channel updates.
  • Coordinate Channel Map and Key Contacts Updates within Sales Force and Digital Marketing Team.
  • Create and manage updates to channel and customer distribution lists for email communications.
  • Manage channel documents such as agreements, schedules, customer contracts and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Assist with customer portal invoicing process.
  • Support field sales with administration tasks such as maintaining documentation scheduling meetings.
  • Assist in the coordination of customer visits and specialist events such as tabletop shows.
  • Support channel and external sales force requests for literature, photos, demos, webinar setup, promotional items, etc.
  • Ship trade show demos, promotional items and samples to Regional Managers and distributors.
  • Work with marketing team to develop and manage presentation materials for field sales and channel use.
  • Work with marketing team on updates needed and access for the channel customer portal.
  • Coordinate vendor signups for Dorner Sales App for sales and channel partners.
  • Maintain and update territory management assignments in both Salesforce and Lead Processing Software, along with Epicor.
  • Execute new customer set up.
  • Assist distributors with content, collateral and other requests as needed.
  • Manage the President's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the President and internal/external stakeholders. Draft, review, and send communications on behalf of the President.
  • Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items from meetings.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special projects and initiatives.
  • Organize and maintain files, records, and documents.
  • Coordinate and manage events, conferences, and other engagements.
  • Conduct research and provide reports to support decision-making.
  • Prepare presentations, including gathering and organizing data, creating slides, and ensuring the final product is polished and professional.
  • Coordinate the collection, analysis, and presentation of data for various projects and reports.
  • Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and approach tasks with a sense of urgency.
  • Attention to detail. Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all areas involved.
  • Ability to build relationships with a diverse workforce with a highly developed sense of understanding.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities and pace to reflect changing needs or job demands.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a business environment in a similar type of role; prefer experience in a corporate or executive office environment
  • May require travel for meetings or events
