As an Associate Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of our product development team, ensuring the quality, safety, and performance of our kitchen appliances. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to test development, and play a key role in continuous improvement initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Test Development:
o Assist in designing and developing test plans, protocols, and procedures for kitchen appliances.
o Execute performance, reliability, and safety tests on prototypes and production units.
o Document test results and provide feedback to design and engineering teams.
o Design, fabricate, and implement test fixtures using a range of hand tools and shop equipment.
• Sample Build and Inspection:
o Participate in sample builds, ensuring accurate assembly and adherence to specifications.
o Inspect components and finished products for defects, functionality, and safety compliance.
• Equipment Coordinator:
o Manage and maintain test equipment, ensuring calibration and functionality.
o Coordinate equipment availability for testing schedules.
• Continuous Improvement and Efficiency Initiatives:
o Identify opportunities to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
o Collaborate with colleagues to implement best practices.
• Life Test Backup:
o Support long-term life tests to assess product durability and reliability.
o Monitor test progress and report any anomalies.
• Safety Coordinator:
o Promote a safety-first culture within the testing team.
o Ensure compliance with safety protocols during testing activities.
• Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME):
o Develop expertise in specific appliance categories (e.g., blenders, coffee makers).
o Provide technical guidance to junior team members.

QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED):
• Experience
o A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
o Relevant coursework or specialization in industrial controls and programming is advantageous.
o Familiarity with testing methodologies, data analysis, and engineering principles.
• Analytical Skills:
o Ability to interpret test data using basic statistical analysis methods.
o Proficiency in using tools such as Excel for reporting and analyzing data.
• Detail-Oriented:
o Thoroughness in executing test procedures and documenting results.
o Attention to detail in identifying product defects.
• Team Player:
o Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
o Strong communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
