Summary:
Responsible for providing direction, administration, and oversight of the learning and development and clinical education functions for Broward Health System. Creates and sustains system-wide curriculum assessment, design, development, and evaluation. Provide direction for HR regulatory compliance, work-force planning, and process facilitation, consultation, coaching, and mentoring. Also responsible for AHA Training Center Administration for the system as well as the approving body for Continuing Education Providerships/Programming.

Must have EXTENSIVE current knowledge of The Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Occupational Safety & Health Administration regulations and standards as well as knowledge of the Florida Department of Professional Regulations scope of practice for all clinical disciplines.

Credentials/Licensure:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or holds a multi-state nursing license; or able to obtain license prior to start is required.
• American Heart Association Instructor
• Eligible to be the American Heart Association Training Center Administrator

Education:

• Master's degree in Nursing, Education or Human Resource Development.

Experience:

• Seven years of related experience.
