Job Description

Part Time - 21 hours a week

Purpose of Position:

Typical Tasks and responsibilities includes:
  1. Grant Opportunity Research:

Conduct thorough research to identify grant opportunities at the local, state, and federal levels. Focus on those that closely align with your organization's mission and program priorities.

Action Steps:
  • Define Your Need: Clearly articulate organizational requirement for funding and how it will be utilized
  • Timelines: Be aware of grant award dates and align your efforts accordingly.
  • Strategic Search: Create a checklist of essential criteria to filter out irrelevant grants. Utilize resources such as databases, online directories, the Small Business Administration (SBA), and foundations.
  • Tracking Tool: Organize grant details in a spreadsheet or project management tool.
  1. Grant Proposal Development:

Craft compelling, well-structured granted proposals that effectively communicate your project's goals, methodologies, and anticipated outcomes. Ensure alignment with the specific requirement of each funder.

Key Elements:
  • Narrative: Develop a persuasive story that captures funders' interest and emphasizes the project's significance.
  • Impact: Demonstrate how the project will make a difference. Provided concrete examples of benefits for the target audience or community.
  • Budget: Create a detailed budget that covers all project-related costs,
  • Supporting Materials: Depending on the grant, include letter of support, resumes of key personnel, and other relevant documentation.
  1. Digital Marketing Services:

Devise a targeted strategy to engage businesses, community members, and potential partners with in the 10029 -zip code.

  • Geotargeting and Geofencing: Utilize these tactics to reach individuals in your area through mobile ads, social media promotions, and timely push notifications.
  • Content Creation: Generate community-driven content that resonates with local relevance. Shareable content can raise awareness of your facility's initiatives.


Minimum Qualifications

* - Qualification for Central Office
1. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in Public or Business Administration or a related discipline and 3 (three) years of progressively responsible experience in areas relating to public administration and/or health care planning and administration, grant writing and work related to grants management and development within these fields.
2. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as listed in #"1" above, can be substituted for one (1) year of experience, as described in "1" above.
