Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage high-profile projects within the Financial Services Industry (FSI). This role requires an individual with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills who can manage diverse stakeholders and project teams without direct reporting authority. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of project management methodologies, experience working with financial services PMO processes, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple medium to high complexity projects across various business units.
  • Collaborate with diverse project sponsors and stakeholders to drive project objectives and decisions.
  • Apply strong leadership and influencing skills to manage project teams without formal reporting structures.
  • Ensure effective communication across all levels of management, providing regular project updates and status reports.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and timelines.
  • Monitor project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Leverage PMI-based project management methodologies to achieve successful project outcomes.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Project Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years managing medium to high complexity projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders effectively, driving decision-making and project success.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of interacting with all management levels.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and process optimization.
  • PMO Process Adaptability: Quick to learn and adapt to Financial Services Industry PMO processes and reporting requirements.
  • Negotiation & Influence: Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with project stakeholders.
Additional Qualifications:
  • PMP Certification: Preferred but not required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with Contact Center/Call Center technology, especially familiarity with Genesys Contact Center, is a plus.
  • Adaptability: Ability to "hit the ground running" and maintain an inquisitive mindset to quickly learn and apply new processes.
