Schedule : Sunday - Wednesday, 7a -4p (Can be flexible)
Full-time RN needed for our 16-bed Acute Stabilization Unit (ASU) in Providence, RI.
The ASU delivers trauma-informed, client-centered, quality care to adults in mental health crises. No restraints are utilized, as our facility is voluntary.
The unit's nurses are responsible for the following:
ASU nursing requires a high degree of client interaction and working as a team. People skills and good bedside manner are a must!
This position offers a manageable workload and work-life balance, competitive salary, and a great opportunity for nurses with a passion for helping people to recover from mental health and substance use challenges. New grads are welcome to apply!
Education/Licensing Requirements:
Seeking an RN, BSN, or ADN. RI RN licensure required. Bilingual skills compensated.

- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting the psychiatric and medical needs of clients, and consulting with providers as needed
- Reviewing referrals
- Conducting assessments
- Reconciling and ordering medications
- Administering medications
- Providing crisis intervention, milieu management, and health education as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team
