Position Purpose

Student workers in Athletics Ticket Office will report to the Athletic Ticketing Coordinator and have responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
  • selling and taking tickets at the gates
  • serving as an usher in the stands
  • performing other customer service related tasks on game days.
Qualifications- Student workers are expected to be flexible with their schedule to account for game day needs, and must possess strong organizational and oral and written communication skills. Student workers must maintain a level of professionalism, understand confidentiality, and be willing to perform a variety of functions, at times in a high stress environment. Evening and weekend availability is necessary.

Work days and hours- Varies based on game-day schedule/class schedule availability.
Athletics/event management background preferred, or currently in closely related academic field of study

Education & Formal Training

High school diploma or equivalent

Computer Skills

Word-Processing, Spreadsheet

Experience

Must be enrolled in at least 4 credit hours as a graduate student or 6 credit hours as an undergraduate
Some sales experience preferred
