About this Role:

This position is a valued member of the Program Support Division (PSD) Admin. Unit (PAU) within DHCS's Administration Section. Joining the PAU team will open the door to opportunities for you to learn and become knowledgeable in many administrative processes that are done throughout the State of California. The Office Technician (Typing) will support the PSD by acting as the Division's primary receptionist and performing various administrative duties. The incumbent will provide secretarial support PSD's Division Chief. This position supports the PSD as the Attendance Coordinator (AC) by reconciling and reporting monthly attendance, maintains confidential personnel files. As the AC the incumbent will conducts regular correspondence with the Human Resources Division (HRD) regarding employee attendance, benefits, pay issues, and onboarding and exiting for PSD's approximately 50 team members. The AC orders, distributes, and maintains program office supplies and will assist with the organization and maintenance of the Departments Surplus Supply Hub.
