Insight Global's client is a leading Missouri mortgage creditor rights firm and are looking for a full time Attorney for its St. Louis, Missouri office. The firm specializes in real estate matters and representing mortgage lenders. Primary duties will include real estate and mortgage related matters all related to real estate litigation, condemnation, garnishment, and anything outside of default servicing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the area of practice you are assigned to manage. Implement effective scheduling and follow up on files within your practice area.
• Manage staff assigned to your practice area.
• Ensure that files assigned to your practice area are timely processed and that the firm is providing sound and accurate legal representation as to those files.
• Have safeguards in place within your practice area so that legal issues are escalated to you and managing attorneys for review and action.
• Meet all client, court and internal timelines and deadlines.
• Account accurately for all time and expenses on each matter.
• Utilize sound, professional judgment in representing clients on matters.
• Full time attorneys should maintain at least 2200 hours of logged time for the office each year.
• Comply with all Supreme Court rules that regulate attorney conduct in each state in which you practice. Maintain the highest ethical standards.
• Timely bill all matters for which you are responsible.
• Have effective, professional and timely communications with clients on matters you are handling.
• Timely update all clients on matters you are handling including client reporting systems.
• Effectively, professionally coordinate and interact with other attorneys and staff in processing client matters.
• Maintain procedures and safeguard to protect client confidentiality. Avoid all conflicts of interest in representing clients.
• Escalate issues to managing attorneys for matters in which client relationships may be negatively impacted or matters in which the firm may experience liability.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-4+ years of experience
- Litigation background and must be very comfortable in a courtroom
- Must be barred in Missouri and willing to become licensed in Kansas and Kentucky
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Some experience with real estate, can be real estate with reviewing mortgage documents (plaintiff or defense) or bankruptcy, collections, title, property litigation
