Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Master's degree or AUD (clinical doctorate).
Audiology State License in the practicing state (20 hours of continuing education every two years).
Audiologists maintain privileges at all satellite hospitals and maintain provider privileges (including Medicare UPIN #'s) for all accepted insurance products
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Audiology State License in the practicing state.

Responsibilities:
- Takes on special duties, developing and sharing unique skills by accepting specialized responsibilities as needed.
- Demonstrates service excellence in interactions with patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians, and other departments.
- Ensures test equipment is well-maintained by identifying malfunctions and reporting issues to the Senior Audiologist, Director, or service contractor.
- Administers routine Audiology tests and manages test findings with precision.
- Shows competence in administering at least five advanced tests beyond the basic audiologic test battery.
- Provides additional hearing-aid related services, including fitting and adjustments.
- Contributes to at least two hours of didactic instruction to medical students or residents annually, or ten hours of supervision for Audiology students.
- Participates in at least one public hearing screening or similar extramural public relations program per year.
- Selects and evaluates hearing aids using appropriate methods, providing counseling on their use.
- Engages in clinical research projects as requested, handling data collection, analysis, and writing detailed reports.
