Piper Companies is looking for an AV Technician to join an IT services and consulting company. This is fully onsite job in Washington DC near Union Station. Multi-year W2 contract with benefits available and possibility for conversion to direct employee.

Essential Duties of the AV Technician:

• Set up and configure AV equipment for meetings, presentations, and events.
• Troubleshoot AV equipment issues, including projectors, microphones, and video conferencing systems.
• Assist users with IT-related problems in a timely and courteous manner.
• Track and manage inventory of IT and AV equipment, including performing regular audits.

Qualifications of the AV Technician:

• 1-2+ years of technical support experience.
• B.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science, and a related field.
• Familiarity with audio-visual technology and equipment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.

Compensation for the AV Technician:

• $50,000 - $70,000 (based on experience)
