Auto Supply Distribution System Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY

The Automated Supply Distribution System Coordinator, under the direction of the Manager or Director of Distribution, is responsible for management of the automated supply distribution systems hospital-wide, including nursing and designated procedural areas. Fulfills the role of subject matter expert for automated supply distribution systems for TGH, which will involve multiple systems. Responsible for coordinating the hospital-wide education programs regarding automated supply distribution systems and training new team members in within the department. Designs, completes, and distributes assigned reports regarding automated supply distribution systems in the support of reaching and maintaining optimal compliancy. Responsible for troubleshooting, buildout of new supply locations and relocations. May be asked to cover other areas in Distribution depending on volume and staffing needs. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications

• High school degree required with College degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Materials Management role required
• Excellent computer and analytical skills required.
• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• An associate degree or higher, or clinical experience in a procedural setting can substitute for experience in Materials Management.
