Automation Engineer - Experience in DeltaV

Job Location: Lansdale, PA/WestPoint PA (Onsite)

Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and configure DeltaV systems, PLCs, SCADA and related software.

• Provide technical support to customers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

• Develop technical documents, including design specification, user manuals, and operational procedures.

• Develop and implement automation strategies for industrial process control systems.

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems.

• Participate in project management and project coordination.

• Monitor and analyze system performance.

• Ensure regulatory compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.

• Utilize best practices, standards and procedures related to automation systems.

• Maintain and update knowledge of evolving automation technologies.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science or Bio-Process Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years relevant automation life science manufacturing experience

• Strong knowledge of Incident management, Service request management, Problem management, and Change management processes.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, presentation, and computer skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and collaborate with management, technical support personnel, and equipment vendors.

• Experience in executing IQ (Installation Qualification) and OQ (Operational Qualification) for Control Systems Development and Enhancements.

• Proficiency in system validation documentation development and ensuring compliance with system validation requirements.

• Ability to effectively manage and update system documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Proficient programming skills in various Control Systems applications and HMIs.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
