As an Automation Intern you'll learn all of the steps associated with designing equipment including: developing controls circuits in CAD, documentation control, gathering information from specification sheets, purchasing equipment, developing construction documentation for contractors, PLC and HMI programming, and checking out equipment.

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related program from an accredited program
  • Must be at least a rising Sophomore
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Ideally, you'll also have:
  • 3.0 GPA
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Understanding of electrical/controls circuits
  • Interest in learning PLC and HMI programming
  • A previous internship related to your field of study
  • Self-driven time management and organizational skills
