Automation Technician I

Description
Provide accurate and efficient material support for the Athens Georgia Animal Health site to include, but not limited to material handling, shipping, delivery, storing, loading and unloading of ambient, cold and frozen product, forklift operation, recyclable materials, waste handling, cycle counts, inventory transacting and any other duty, request, project or directive as required by the company or any of its departments.  

Skills:

Experience driving both a stand-up and sit-down forklift, preferably Raymond on the stand-up lift

Ability to lift up to 60lbs unassisted

Ability to work in varying temperatures ranging from ambient to -40C

Fluency in English, written, reading and spoken

Computer and scanner experience, experience with SAP a plus

MS Outlook, Word and Excel experience

Team player willing to do what it takes to meet the daily goals of the department

Owner type mentality, good work ethic and able to be held accountable

Good basic math skills and the ability to accurately count and convert measurements and quantities;(e.g., items/case, cases/pallet)
