Automation/SCADA Engineer

An operational technology company is looking for an Automation/SCADA Engineer, your role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems. Youll work with SCADA, PLC, and HMI technologies to optimize efficiency. Responsibilities include system troubleshooting, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and project implementation. Qualifications include relevant education, certifications (such as EIT, SCADA, and CCNA), and skills in SCADA communication protocols and electric grid monitoring. Experience supporting systems remotely and proficiency in MS Windows-based tools are essential.

This position is a Direct Placement opportunity looking to pay $80,000 - $110,000 per year based on skills and experience.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-8 years of experience as a Automation/SCADA Engineer
- Experience in an Operational Technology capacity
- Experience with PLC programming (Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, and GE platforms)
- Design and Implementation experience with HMI tools (FTView ME and SE, Wonderware InTouch, AVEVA System Platform, iFIX, and Cimplicity)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Database experience with SQL, Snowflake, etc. is a plus
- Scripting experience with one or more of the following SQL, VB6, VB .NET, Python, C++, C#
- Industry experience in one or more of the following Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Chemical, Mining, and/or Food & Beverage
