Automotive Equipment Operator 1 (Parks Recreation & Open Spaces)

Minimum Qualifications

Eighth grade. Six months of experience operating light equipment such as tractors and trucks, dump trucks, water tank trucks, or similar equipment are required. Must possess a CDL/Class B. A driving performance test will be given at the time of interview.

Recruitment Notes

This position will report to Larry & Penny Thompson Park located at 12451 SW 184th Street. This position must safely operate and control various types of vehicles or machinery, such as trucks, tractors, mowers, loaders, backhoes, or excavators. This includes driving to different job sites and using equipment for tasks like ground maintenance, moving materials, digging or grading. Must be available to work a varied work schedule to include weekends and holidays, between the hours of 6:00am - 8:00pm.
