Duties
  • You will provide vehicle inventory assignment updates to ensure an organization meets its transportation requirements.
  • You will assist in coordinating transportation and equipment support requirements (e.g., cars, trucks, vans, carts, fork lifts, pallet jacks) for command programs.
  • You will maintain custody and preventive maintenance records on motorized vehicular equipment (e.g., cars, trucks, vans, carts, material handling equipment).
  • You will submit requests and process reimbursements for General Services Administration (GSA) vehicle maintenance.
  • You will inform customers of credit card rules and regulations relating to the proper use of fuel credit cards.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Establishing quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy of data in automated data systems to manage Government owned or leased vehicles; 2) Reviewing, recording or compiling information related to vehicle assignment and use; 3) Preparing and maintaining documents, files, receipts and other pertinent documentation applicable for records management, processes and procedures; 4) Interfacing with customers, PWD's, internal and external agency contacts to conduct oversight of fleet inventory, answer inquiries, and respond to related transportation management issues; and 5) Validating vehicles and equipment, obtaining reports and conducting inquiries as required.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree

OR

Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree

OR

Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled. combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
