An Insight Global Client is looking for an A/V - IT Support Technician to join their team on a contract to hire basis.

* Investigate and resolve intermediate level AV problems in conference rooms.

* Resolve other problems associated with room acoustics, microphones and amplification and/or video projection.

* Differentiate between AX link, RS232 and Ethernet protocols for control system installations.

* Maintain projectors, wiring, signal distribution amplifiers and audio or video switchers.

* Coordinate installation of equipment for new or renovated conference rooms.

* Modify programs and ensure room functionality after equipment upgrades or replacements.

* Monitor customer requests, analyze, repair and document resolution details or escalate problems to next level.

* Participate in planning with event coordinating teams, ensuring they know the AV possibilities available to them.

* Provide intermediate computer support and training to u of conference room technology.

* Provide computer support (PC and Mac) to u using the classroom/instructional technology.

* Provide u with assistance in working in specific applications.

* Monitor equipment-related activity and movement to support successful equipment inventory quarterly.

* Assist project management, clients, and key stakeholders with conversion of AV/VTC systems.

* Crestron digital signage configuration and support using the Creston Toolbox and XiO Cloud.

* Assist with training and mentoring junior staff.

* Windows Updates and Patch Management using SCCM.

* Support mobile device setup and activation within MDM system.

Compensation:

28-35/hour depending on level of experience

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
