Aviation Repair Technician Career Opportunity!

We have a great opportunity for an Aviation Repair Technician in Sunrise, Florida. You will perform routine, non-routine, and preventative maintenance on all parts of the aircraft according to Component Maintenance Manual and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

What Will You Be Doing?

• Responsible for the disassembly, inspection, repair, overhaul, modifications, and reassembly of a variety of aircraft Radio/Electrical and Electrical Mechanical components.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with approved technical data, to customer supplications and regulatory requirements.
• Use appropriate inspection techniques, and calibrated equipment for the unit/part being accomplished.
• Record information and accomplish the work assignment in compliance with the Inspection and Quality Policies and Procedures.
• Comply with all safety directives and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform troubleshooting on analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits.
• Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies, using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters.

What Do You Need To Be Successful?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' working experience (Aerospace preferred).
• A&P License is highly preferred but not required
• Able to read and interpret schematics, drawings, manufacturer and airline instructions, service bulletins, drawings, engineering orders, component maintenance manual (CMM) and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement, or modification.
• Proficient with the use of oscilloscope, voltmeter, function generator, pulse generator, and battery simulator.
• Must be capable of using standard tools to include, but not limited to; screwdrivers, wrenches, ratchets and sockets, torque drivers and wrenches, multi-meters, soldering irons, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, flow meters, psi gauges, temperature measurement, safety wire pliers, or any other tool required for a particular maintenance function.
• Ability to multi-task and work on several types of components and to prioritize work without close supervision.
• Flexibility to work beyond 40 hours/week if needed.
• Basic computer skills, MS Word and Excel.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Fluent in English (able to speak, read and write).
• FCC License (preferred but not required).

This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity in Sunrise, Florida.

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $30.00/per hour, occasional OT may be required to complete urgent/time sensitive projects.
