Description

We are seeking a strong candidate to oversee and manage multiple offshore operations' teams to support the North American Underwriting Group. This leader will be the key driver of analysis and identifying processes and/or roles that can be managed from a remote set up to ensure seamless workflow and proper alignment of cost and skill for work performed. This leader will utilize their change management experience to assist in introducing changes in operational processes and organizational behaviors that have a positive impact on bottom line results, adherence to all operational and regulatory requirements and ensures changes are embed within Company culture and practices. The position requires solid analytical, interpersonal and people leadership skills with a strong interest in utilization and introduction of innovative technology solutions and workflows. Seeking someone with self-initiative and a passion for continual operational improvement.

• Partner with transformational and operational offshore teams, developing scope of work (SOW) including establishing milestones, priorities, expected outcomes and deliverable timelines.

• Assist in development and periodic review and approvals of Standard Operating Procedures.

• Direct management and oversight of offshore teams, providing regular feedback to maintain clear communication, track progress and address issues promptly.

• Liaison with offshore teams and/or consultants to document current state to support effective knowledge transfer sessions.

• Coordination with any necessary system updates within AW systems to support transformation changes.

• Establish effective change management process, including developing plan, implementation strategy and communication plans.

• Organization of all supporting documentation and status reporting.

• Establish appropriate internal audits of offshore teams to ensure established metrics for quality and turnaround times are achieved.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of team approaches, models, and knowledge by sharing information, building standards, and streamlining processes reduce bottlenecks, enhance clarity, and improve team coordination.

• Develop Business Continuity Plans for each workstream.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required.

• 10 years' insurance and leadership experience.

• Minimum 3 years' experience working with Offshore teams.

• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and consultative skills.

• Highly collaborative with demonstrated ability to build relationships.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, manage and achieve change.

• Solid organization, analytic and critical thinking skills.

• Strong communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.

• Highly resourceful with outstanding problem-solving skills.

• Proficient at using Microsoft desktop tools and other technologies.

(Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Internet Explorer).
