AWS Data Architect Job Description

This will be a cloud architect role involved in the TechOps Data Warehouse initiative.

Must be MSP (Minneapolis/ St. Paul) based and willing to work onsite 50-50 hybrid.

Senior AWS Solutions architect responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex cloud solutions on AWS.
• Provide strategic guidance on cloud architecture and align it with business objectives
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security, and best practices
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability and cost efficiency.
• Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Evaluate emerging AWS technologies and recommend their adoption as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in the cloud environment
• Stay abreast of AWS updates, trends, and best practices.

Senior AWS Solutions architect job qualification

• 7 to 10 years of architecture experience, preferably in AWS.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing complex cloud solutions.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of AWS services.
• A history of effectively addressing and resolving challenging technical issues with cloud environments.
• Familiar with industry best practices, compliance requirements, and security standards related to cloud architecture
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and the management team.
• AWS Associate or Professional certification preferred.
