The Cloud Strategy Architect will drive adoption of cloud platforms in Azure tenant. You partner with Application Development, Application Support, and other Technology teams and partners to migrate existing applications, deploy new applications, and ensure operational stability, resilience, and compliance of cloud-based systems. You select appropriate cloud services, develop solutions and patterns, devise and document change protocols, educate and mentor peer teams, and deliver reporting on the cloud estate.

Required Skills & Experience

Overall 8+ years of technical experience with past 3-4+ years in cloud architecture and strategy
Experience in banking, financial services, or healthcare (regulated environments and familiarity working with regulators)
Expert with Azure solution design and deployment, IT Service Management principles, documentation and communication of complex, detailed processes and concepts.
Experience facilitating delivery of Azure resources and supporting elements, including NSG rules, firewall changes, and access control.
Experience developing standards and guidance for adopting and implementing cloud technologies.
Ability to identify cloud platform solutions and services for applications
Experience developing reporting and documenting findings and project progress for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Azure certifications
Azure SQL instances
Azure site recovery
Experience with cost management, fin-ops, reduced cost / re-strained
Experience with PowerBI or Tableau for reporting
Experience with azure data factory and/or Databricks
Exposure/understanding of Telemetry (Dynatrace)
