Medix is hiring a Medical Assistant for a local contract within a clinic in Avondale, Full time, paying $15-$19/hr depending on experience and benefits! Day Shift - 5x8hr shifts/week. A great opportunity to work within one of the area's top health networks!

Medical Assistant Certifications / Qualifications

• 1 year Back Office experience
• MA Diploma
• HS Diploma
• EKG experience
• EMR experience

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Room patients following clinic standard weight/height, temperature, blood pressure, medication reconciliation, patient history, etc.
• Schedule patient appointments
• Review lab results
• Take vitals and measurements
• Charting
• Overall care of patients as they are seen by the provider
