Insight Global is searching for a Sr. Backend Engineer to join the team of our largest entertainment streaming clients. This person will join the senior level team that builds and supports the companies payment processing platform that fuels the subscription service. This person should have 8+ years of experience with development using Typescript, Node.js. This person should have experience working on consumer facing platforms with hundreds of thousands of pings per second. Experience working within a heavy AWS environment working within a serverless infrastructure. They should stay up to date on the latest technologies and comfortable in a collaborative environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8-10 years of experience with backend development within an enterprise level organization utilizing Typescript and Node.js
- Extensive experience with AWS- API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, S3 Plus on RDS, ECS, SQS and EventBright
- Experience building RESTful services and follow best coding practices
- Experience within MySQL, PostgresDB, MariaDB and DynamoDB in addition to Flyaway used to DB migration
- Observability tools such as Datadog or NewRelic
- Experience working on consumer facing platforms with 100K+ pings / second
- Experience with payment platform integrations such as stripe, paypal, square etc on a global scale
