Responsibilities

• Set up and break down catering events per instructions given.
• Stock locations and help run food and beverage.
• Run equipment to locations.
• Assist with cleaning when needed.
• Assist in the catering warehouse.
• Assist in maintaining inventory in the catering warehouse.
• Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order.
• Stock linen, China , silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently with grace in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
• Very organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift.
• Constant walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift stock up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to pull/push 100 pounds occasionally.
• Noise level may be moderate to high during busy times.
