Team Members who encompass the role of Ocean Club Concierge & Membership Barback take the initiative to deliver a unique and memorable experience by providing a wide range of services that makes the transaction feel like a part of an elevated experience for all guests and Members.

Both a valid Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) certification & RBS server ID are required for this position.

What will I be doing?



As a Barback, you would be responsible for preparing and servicing permanent and portable bars throughout the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Retrieves orders from storeroom. Visually checks stock received against written requisition with storeroom personnel, to ensure order is accurate. Upon delivery to the bar, re-checks items with bartender for completeness. Notifies Manager of any discrepancies.
• Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, condiments and produce based on projections and forecast
• Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and applicable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
• Assists in greeting guests in timely manner.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages to guests and Members.
• Assist with set up of buffet when needed.
• Transport food items to and from the kitchen.

The hourly rate is $19.38/hr - $22.80/hr and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
