To learn more about Baptist Health, visit us at https://www.baptistfirst.org. The Behavioral Health Clinician shall plan and implement therapy services for Crossbridge. The Clinician shall function as part of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for assessments, group, individual and family therapy, case management, and other therapeutic services. This individual is also responsible to provide collaborative discharge planning services with patients and their families in order to promote adequate and timely discharge plans. In addition, the Clinician may assume primary therapist responsibilities as directed by the Physician. The Clinician may also serve as a preceptor to Behavioral Health interns. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.Description

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or closely related field required.
  • Prior experience with psychiatry, behavioral health, and knowledge of case management is preferred.
  • License / Certification: Active LMSW, LICSW, ALC, LPC or LMFT required, SECURE required,
  • BLS required
  • Ability to evaluate and access difficulties and strengths in age specific psycho-social functioning
  • Knowledge of diagnostic criteria from the most current DSM
  • 'Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
  • Ability to cope with stressful/rapidly changing situations
  • Ability to maintain a professional and customer centric composure in difficult or challenging situations
  • Ability to work from broad directions and be self motivated
